Today BFS Fund Manager (PTY) Ltd has handover a cheque amounting to an amazing N$ 93,818.00 to Sports on Move Foundation. The funds were raised from the 2nd para-athletics fundraising event held on the 13th of April 2019.

The event took place at the German school DHPS with facilities provided free of charge with thanks to the principal Ms Eichholz . It aims to assist para athletes with visually impairment participate more in sports as well as initiatives that will benefit them after their sporting careers.

Speaking at the handover Ms Kaunapaua Ndilula, Managing Director of Business Financial Solutions said “BFS Fund Manager and NamPro Fund are committed to this event and they want to see more athletes with visually impairment succeed in their sporting careers. As each year goes by they are sure that each event will bring some change and more partnership with the corporate world that will benefit these athletes”.

Ndilula hopes that this donation will provide more opportunities to the beneficiaries as they prepare themselves ahead of big competitions and the Paralympic Games of Tokyo next year. She is sure the athletes can still make Namibia proud.
